The man behind it all. A genius.

And his protege.

The day Carlos Alberto Vela made his name in North London. A brilliant hattrick against Sheffield united 6-0 in the Carling cup 3rd round at the Grove.

I watched with bated breath.

Still rubbing my hands in glee! A few days ago we buried the Bolton hoodoo with a 3-1 away win and now we have this!

ESTUPENDO!

I just have to relive that moment again...FABREGAS YOU'VE MADE MY DAY SON TAKE A BOW!!!

And because I still haven't had enough, here are some more replays from Dutch TV. :))))))))))

YESSSSSSSS GET IN!!!!!!!!

Fábregas shakes San Siro as Arsenal topple the champions

The King is Dead Long Live the new Kings. Arsenal last night made one of their most famous victories in totally dominating AC Milan in the second leg of their second round clash at fortress San Siro. Milan had never lost previcously to English opposition and now Arsenal are in the driving seat.

FAMOUS NIGHT FOR THE GUNNERS AT THE SAN SIRO...!!!!!!!! ONE OF THE BEST IN OUR HISTORY.. A TRULY HISTORIC AND SYMBOLIC ONE...

The display was redolent of the 1-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Bernabéu two years ago, which spurred Arsenal towards the final. Here there was once more an authority in every area of the line-up. Kolo Touré was still absent, yet that went unnoticed while Philippe Senderos was in so decisive a mood. Though Fábregas dominated, Alexander Hleb demanded nearly as much admiration in his slightly more advanced role.

There was no resemblance to the mauling endured by Manchester United in last year's semi-final. Any prospect of an onslaught lay in a display by the visitors that teemed with confidence.

Arsène Wenger hailed a "perfectly executed performance" as Arsenal became the first English team to prevail against Milan at San Siro. The Frenchman rated the display on a par with his side's win at Real Madrid at the same stage two years ago. That success was gleaned en route to the Champions League final, with Wenger hopeful that feat can be replicated this time around.

ALL APPENDAGES CROSSED.....

I havent been here in a long long time but as predicted by me at the start of the season we are sitting proudly at the top of the table. We spent almost nothing in the transfer window ...sold off our greatest goalscorer ever...replaced him with a Croazilian and a right back ( as if there weren't enough) . To make things worse, Gallas was given the captaincy, a decision that I couldn't come to terms with AT ALL.

How wrong I have been proven. Arsene Wenger, you DO know.
Your decision to hand Gallas the armband has been one of your all time masterstrokes.

Tommorow is the 5th round cup tie against Scum united at Old Trashford....like most gooners are saying I will be happy to beat them but won't be gutted if we go out cos we have bigger fish to fry this season. Namely Milan in the Champions league in 5 days time. After that for the league!

Come on you Gunners!

Saturday, August 11, 2007

well my fellow fans in Arsenal world, its that time of year again. It's the start of a brand new season!
The 2007/08 season will begin off in exactly the same way we Arsenal fans have come to love; underrated and underestimated. Everybody is writing us off. Some even say that Tottenham will get the better of us in terms of that last Champions league place. I think they must be on hallucinogenic drugs.

The Arsenal 2007/07 team might have lost Henry and Ljungberg. But in losing Henry they lost a player who's had an average last season out through injury and who was sulking his way thru the entire season despite being captain. I think he wanted to go and was holding up the development of the younger players. I could always see how Hleb was scared of doing the wrong thing when Henry was on the pitch. That's why he fucked up so much.

Ljungberg going I couldnt care less. I mean I give the guy credit but he's been rubbish for over 3 years now. And I mean rubbish. Not contributed even a little apart from last seasons goal agasinst Bolton which i celebrated like a retard.
The guy was clearly wanting to stay on at arsenal for the 70,000 pounds a week. he's taken a pay cut to go to west ham and now he slags off the arsenall. piss off freddie we luved ya but dont piss on us.

Well. When the shit hits the ceiling, the shit hits the ceiling. Captain William Gallas. The less said about that one the better.. I don't have to tell you I am extrememly ANGRY at this decision of Arsene Wenger. In fact, it is the ONLY decision of his that I strongly disagree with. The rest have been vindicated or at least have been unpopular but ultimately right decisions. Gallas captain of Arsenal? The fucking blue scum chelski eatring mother fucking shit faced wanker of a monkey from guadelope frenchie floating in the toilet bowl piece of shit I certainly will HATE for the duration of his captaincy.

And that's that.

Tommorow's game is against Fulham at the Grove.

you know it makes sense! ;)

my predicted lineup:
Lehman
Sagna Toure bluescumshitfacedwankerfrog Clichy
Eboue Cesc Diaby/Flamini Rosicky
Hleb
Van Persie

note : gilberto out. eduardo out.

The end of Arsenal's most valued striker and most certainly the end of an Era. Arsenal are in mini-crisis. I am devastated. Au revoir to a legend Titi. But he wanted to go. I am gutted.

so its the world cup final tonight, That special night which comes every 4 years. I have to say I like both teams in the final but am torn between supporting any of them. let the better team win. And honestly we will find out tonight. It's the last match of the greatest european player of the last 20 years, fittingly in a World Cup final. Will it be every 24 years lucky for the azzuri or will the great zidane displace one of the 2 football gods who are at the top of the football pantheon of gods?

We will wait and watch. My prediction. Italy to win .

so they won the FA Cup, lost patrick vieira suffered a serious and alarmioing loss of form and spirit, bounced back from the dead against Real Madrid and were suddenly re-surrected into being potential Champions league winners........yet again. I don;t believe a word of it until it happens. Namely cos I'm an experienced old hack. Secondly it brings back memories of 1992 May when my other team Sampdoria faced the strongest Barcelona team for years in the opposing draw. I hope this year will be vindication for years of hating the very word barca.

Anyway, tonite they face scum united and i hope we stuff them to the high heavens. I really want to put one over them even tho we got the sucker punch on them by winning the one match between them and us that mattered...the FA Cup FINAL.!!!
We may have lost both fixtures last season ( albeit them cheating to earn a penalty ) but won the match that mattered and that's what matters .

I hope we stuff these bastards tonight. SHEMHAMFOROSH

So Vieira is gone. Thanks Paddy for all the power and great great memories even the unpleasant ones. It was great above all and you'll be forever arsenal .

The Magnificent Trio.....Great Days

Tuesday, December 14, 2004

So this is December 14th. Kay came down from India today. I went to the airport to receive her and as our faces met, there was a very very slight smile, if not a wry one which escaped from her lips. She looked down as we approched and I said hello and took her baggage and we wheeled it out to the car. I was feeling so nervous about everything. We were soon at ease though and it was soon clear that she was not 100% angry still as she suggested we go sightseeing around the island. Fair enough. So I drove her around to East Coast park, we went on a city tour, I showed her the various buildings of importance and finally we went to her hotel. The Oxford hotel in Queen's Street. Checked in, talked about important stuff, and I asked if I could kiss her on the neck. She said she hadn't brushed her teeth ; it didn't matter much to me as I put my arms around her and held her close and kissed her slender neck. Kay.....it felt like so much disappeared from my head.... I'm so happy. I'm so happy.

In the evening, we went to Clarke Quay and had dimsum. it was excellent. We went walking along the Quay and she seems to really like her first day in Singapore. AND of course she loves the weather. But of course she would wouldn't she...After all, Ms Kay cannot STAND a little cold.
Anyway, its good to know that she finds the weather good ; hopefully it becomes too hot for her to manage so she has to turn on the AC all the time!

We're finding a place for her tommorow. Meeting real estate agents in the morning.

Arsenal. through the the knockout stages of the Champions league after an indifferent start to the 2004/05 campaign. Through as group winners. Due to face either Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Porto or Werder Bremen. I know i'd go for Madrid. Call me stupid. but we aint no Manchester United who just CANNOT take Madrid. I think we'd have a good chance with madrid given their defence is so shite. Of course our defence better start being less shite. We could start by buying a central defender in January.

In the league, Arsenal were held ( although most would say it was a fair result) by Chelski to a 2-2 draw at highbury. A pulsating match in which TH14 scored the funniest as well as one of the most cracking goals to be seen this season.

I hate the AC milan, Manure, Chelski phenomenon. money money money. Hope they all run out of it and start fighting among themselves. Football has lost its soul forever.

Tonight I will be able to sleep much better than the previous few nights. Today my Love has arrived.

Sunday, May 23, 2004

Well I'm back in the place where I need to be for 5 months now. Its a bit of a downer as you'd expect. The mere fact of spending time in this place is enough to give anyone a mild depression. Anyhow i'm sure that can be covered with football. But hey wait the football season in europe is over. No it isnt, there's still the European Championships to come this June. Hope France make it but henry should be fit for the next season's double challenge, the league and the european cup.

We were so close this year. So very very close. Fucking chelsea came and fucked it up. We could have done so much better in
monaco in the first leg of the semifinal had we been there. Anyway, next year it is then. We wait.

Reyes is left out of the spanish squd for euro 2004. What a shame. The bloody spanish coach is a right wanker indeed. Saez is his name.

The other day I saw a old european championship match between Slovenia and Yugoslavia. it was billed one of the greatest comebacks ever. yugoslavia was losing 3-0...they caugt up to draw 3-3 in the final analysis. Guess who the respective coaches were...i couldn't believe my eyes when I waw them.. for slovenia it was Srecko Katanec and for Yugoslavia, it was none other than Vujadin Boskov. Imagine that!

Double Sampdoria ! They hugged each other after the match and kataec was really smiling even though his team had thrown away a 3-0 lead. Fantastic. Just like old times.

Kay and me have been talking everyday either by phone or email and msn. I really miss her. When is she going to come down? soon i hope

Kay writing: Had a good time in London although things were very hectic and busy... Sharad behaved ok and I expect him in the future to be much BETTER.hahaha...

Sharad writing : shes writing total bollocks. This is my blog remember .....?

Kay writing : Yes, maybe but after all it is my side of this reality that we shared together and it is true we have to admit that our interpretations of a same event, sentence or deed differs tremendously. What to do? So... London was as usual, grim, stressful, active, rainy but not dull. The underground was like being part of a systematic awfull automatic engine.

Sharad writing : back in France. Sick a little bit, she didn't want to have sex with me but I forced her and whatever... just like she forced me once upon a time. Anyway it had been a week so I was quite justified in my horny opinion. Ciao
